How do you handle claims in insurance?
The process differs depending on the class of insurance, i.e. whether it is life, motor, health or others. Within life insurance, it would matter again whether the claim is a death claim or a maturity claim. In any case, the policyholder or the claimant has to submit the details of the policy and the claim in the required format and the insurance company takes up the payment of the claim after deciding whether the claim is as per the terms of the policy conditions or not.
